  • What should the customer know about your pricing?
    I offer an individual session to first-time clients only for $129. After that, clients may purchase a 6-session package for $89 per session, 12 sessions for $79 per session, or 24 sessions for $69 per session. I offer flexible payment plans, too.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
    All new clients fill out a goals assessment and an intake evaluation prior to committing to coaching. This ensures we're a good fit for each other before we invest too much time and energy in each other.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
    I graduated from Coaching Training EDU. Prior to that, I served in full-time Christian ministry for ten years. I'm also an Amazon bestselling author of two books: From Pastor to a Psych Ward: Recovery from a Suicide Attempt is Possible, and Catching Your Breath: The Sacred Journey from Chaos to Calm.   • How did you get started doing this type of work?
    After surviving a suicide attempt, I knew my life had to change. After a year of individual therapy, plus couple's counseling with my wife, I shifted gears from pastoral work and knew I wanted to work with people who are overwhelmed from any walk of life.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
    I'm particularly passionate about people who feel overwhelmed and are looking for practical or spiritual ways to calm down and regain focus, clarity, and inner peace. Whether you're a pastor facing burn out, a mother who is pulling her hair out, or someone who's just come out of the closet. Everyone is welcome, safe, and affirmed here.   • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
    Just like any other product or service out there, coaching inherently requires certain ideals. Below are five characteristics of a profitable and successful coach.
    • 1. “I’m here and I’m totally focused on you.” - A coach's physical and mental presence is priceless. The attention given exudes professionalism and genuine dedication. Attentiveness, openness, and creativity go a long way.
    • 2. “We aren’t all that different.” - Each of us have some basic shared experiences. There should be no sense of inequality between yourself as the client and your potential new coach.
    • 3. “Let’s collaborate.” - Just as with any relationship, successful coaching is a reciprocal relationship where both parties are equally invested.
    • 4. “Let’s make a plan.” - People strive on structure. With a well-thought-out plan, balanced by your motivation and your coach's support, you can absolutely succeed.
    • 5. “I know someone...” - Networking is never a bad thing. When you hire a new coach, they may not have every answer to every question or expertise in every specific area that comes up. You may have needs beyond the scope of your coach's practice. Feel encouraged when they refer you to someone else for additional coaching, rather than "shooting from the hip."
